Parachutes were very amusing when you're a kid. They are common science projects at school. They are fairly easy to make and require only inexpensive materials. However in the real world, using a parachute while free falling has serious implications. If the parachute does not deploy at the right moment, the person can fall to their death.

 It seems like the love of golf is taking over the country. It used to be that only the rich were into the game of golf. They would have their exclusive clubs where they would play with each other and entertain and impress business partners. This is no longer the case. Of course there are still exclusive clubs that allow only members and their invited guests in, but there are also a great number of fine public golf courses that anyone can play.

The Montreal Alouettes demonstrated the form that has made them the CFLs top team in a Saturday visit to Winnipeg. Anthony Calvillo threw four touchdown passes and the tenacious Montreal defense all but shut down the Winnipeg offense as the Alouettes prevailed easily over the Blue Bombers by a 39-12 score.
