There's no question that designer Giorgio Armani's contributions to the fashion industry are known throughout the world. After all, his creations are routinely worn by celebrities at major events such as movie premieres and awards shows. He's made quite a name for himself with average consumers too by putting out numerous clothing lines that are accessible to those with a little extra money to spend. While I've never worn anything clothing carrying that label, I do have a vanity table littered with different Armani fragrances.

When naming the 100 greatest guitarists, most folks would suggest you start with Jimi Hendrix and just go from there. Hendrix was so good, so distinct, so incendiary that most people - critics, other guitarists, etc etc - have a hard time imagining ranking anyone higher than Jimi.

Lots has been made of David Beckham videos over the years, from his technique to his never-say-day attitude to his nasal, almost muppet-like voice. His presence on the front pages of both sports and entertainment magazines over the past decade has made him an almost omnipresent figure, and Beckham videos of everything from underwear modeling sessions to flubbed penalty kicks can be found all over the place.

We watch celebrities like Paris Hilton in awe. "What would I feel like in her position?" we wonder. "What if I was so rich I didn't know what to do with my money, I didn't have to go to work and everyone was watching my every move?" It's with this fascination that we soak up celebrity news. We watch love stories of the rich and famous play out, we look to see what the celebrities are wearing and we wonder if there is some unsightly blemish on their facades of perfection. Perhaps it seems a bit cruel... or maybe it's all part of the American way.
